My part of the world was greatly affected when the remnants of Hurricane Helene passed over on September 27, 2024.
This post references places from my childhood as places that I've forgotten. I haven't forgotten them. But some places from the past live so deep inside you it's possible to be walking in them, through them, all the time without realizing that's what you're doing.
