Max is Amazing

For those who may not have already known, Max is amazing.

I started this post the night before our anniversary.

Obviously it's been a while since then, and a lot has happened.

The year 2013 began with Rosie's leg injury:

for two weeks we had a daily routine of un-bandaging the wound,

spraying it off, coating it with sugar, and putting the dressing back on.

She tried to claw her way out each time.

Looking back I can't believe we persevered,

but I think it was practice for what was to come.

And it was worth it.

So right now I'm just wishing for peace,

better times ahead, and still

so grateful for the time we have.
