I loved the picture of the landscape of the past informing our present! When I first read the part about the kudzu being on fire I thought that said the "kudzid" is on fire and got confused. Your artwork is amazing! Tell Max he should have taken the gifted and talented class in 5th grade with Dwight Johnson like I did. Then he could have forgotten everything about Morse Code just like I did.
Wow, you learned Morse Code with Dwight Johnson? We never learned it with Mrs. Oldham. It's really hard to learn. I think it would have been easier if I learned it as a kid in the 50's with a secret club where that's how we communicated. These days even texting on my flip-phone seems agonizingly slow.
Still trying to make my lettering better with these pictures. Kudzid is pretty close!
